Paul Bowman "Buddy" LeVan III, born January 18, 1957, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, touched the lives of everyone around him with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to family. Fondly known as "Buddy", he was a beloved son, brother, and friend, whose presence brought light and joy to those fortunate enough to know him.


His journey, though unexpectedly brief, left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who shared in his life.


Buddy was the oldest son of Audrey Jean Wolf of Pennsylvania and the late Paul Bowman LeVan Jr. His love for his family was boundless, and he embraced his role within the family with pride and joy. For Buddy, family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every gathering, every celebration, and each quiet moment spent with his loved ones. He brought a spirit of togetherness and warmth that created lasting memories and deep bonds among those he held dear.


On Sunday, April 19, 2015, along Pool Station Road in Copperopolis, Calaveras County, Buddy’s journey was cut tragically short by an unexpected myocardial infarction. His passing left an unimaginable void in the lives of his family, friends, and the community he was a part of. The loss of Buddy was felt deeply, a reminder of the fragility of life and the profound impact one person can have on those around them.


Though his time was short, Buddy’s legacy endures. He is remembered for the joy he brought to others, his kindness, and his unwavering love for those closest to him.
